Public schooling

Much needs to be done to improve public schooling in Jamaica. There are significant reports of overcrowding and lack of school supplies and technology. Of greater importance are incidences of child abuse that are committed by teachers who ignore the code of regulation, banning corporal punishment. If students are to benefit from education, an improvement of the educational system in Jamaica is inevitable.
